Seui seems like one of those towns suspended in time, with narrow roads and panoramic views. Today too will be a day uphill, with tough ups and downs because of the deep valleys to cross.
We'll start with an old mule track that leads to the stream at the foot of the town, surrounded by gardens and bushes.
We'll climb up among the Mediterranean scrub and then ride down along the beautiful road that leads to the breathtaking, and sometimes difficult, ford of the Rio San Gerolamo.
After crossing Perdasdefogu and the desert plain of the Salto di Quirra, we'll start another road downhill that leads from the sheep-pen of S'Illixi Ucci to the bridge over the river Flumendosa at the foot of the town of Armungia. There is still the last climb before reaching the small village. There we will stay at the
"antica locanda del carabiniere" , an old restored carabinieri station , It is run by signora Lina, great at cooking homemade fregola with sausages
